Acquiring the PADI Open Water Diver course allows you to scuba dive up to a maximum depth of 18 meters and enables you to enroll in other interesting PADI Dive Courses such as the Advanced Open Water Diver Course and Adventure Diver Course.


Prerequisites
Minimum age 10 years old. 

Be medically and physically fit.
Have both parent ((legal guardian)and 10-11 year old participant watch (video) or review(flipchart) the
Youth Diving: Risks and Responsibility.

 

Requirements for course completion.
Complete the required application forms.

Knowledge Development -
PADI Open Water Diver Manual knowledge review completion(self study).
View  PADI Open Water Diver Video. 
Complete PADI Open Water Diver quizzes  and exam.
 

Confined Water Dives -
Complete 5 parts/3 sessions of the Confined water training at our training pool.
 

Open Water Diver Dives -
Complete 4 Open Water Dives (Max Depth 12-18m) during the dive trip.
 

Water Skills and Stamina -
Float in water too deep to stand continuously for 10 mins.
Swim 200 metres or snorkel 300 metres. 




The Course Fee includes -Your PADI Open Water manual  pack,  Dive log Book,PADI Open Water Diver certification fee and card and PADI Open Water Diver Wall Certificate, equipment rental for the duration of the course including during the trip, theory session,confined water training in pool Open Water training Instruction fees, return Speedboat transfer ex Merang Jetty, 3D/2N triple or quad shared stay in air conditioned beach side chalet accommodation at Redang Island, 4 Open Water certfication dives, breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner, all equipment rental during the open water certification period.

Excludes - RM 5 Marine Park Fee, anything not stated above. Single Occupancy surcharge. Peak season surcharge if applicable. Twin Share add just RM 35/ per trip/per person.
